Our History
Louisa Mutual Insurance Association located in Wapello, IA was formed in 1874, to provide insurance protection for farms & homes located in Louisa and surrounding counties. Louisa Mutual continues to provide professional insurance and claim service to its policyholders. We have built our reputation as one of Southeast Iowa’s leading providers of insurance for farming operations. The county mutual concept of working together with neighbor helping neighbor remains the focus of the company moving forward.
Our Mission
Louisa Mutual Insurance Association continues to provide insurance protection for the owners of farms, homes & personal property for Louisa and surrounding counties, since 1874. Our goal is to provide outstanding service, for a competitive price, while maintaining financial stability for our policyholders.
Annual Meeting
Annual Meeting of Louisa Mutual Insurance Association is held at the home office in Wapello, IA, on the third Saturday of February each year, commencing at 10:00AM.
